This Casio G-Shock watch was sent in to us by a customer from Nottingham who had tried a well known high street repair agent and had been told the watch needed a service because the battery did not work. Unfortunately, this turned out to be incorrect.

The other repairer had fitted the incorrect battery not realising that this watch is Solar powered. This watch requires a specialist rechargeable battery. The other repairer had also crushed the metal plates you can see in the pictures. There were quite a few issues with the watch related to a total lack of care and poor workmanship.

We were able to special order the required parts and have this watch back on the customers watch all set and working correctly. These watches are also Wave Ceptor which means it requires a signal that will automatically set the time and date.

This customer ended up saving money having this watch repaired with us.
