This Citizen Eco drive watch was sent in to us for repair as it was not holding charge. We suggested fitting a new capacitor and the customer was happy to proceed.

Once the new capacitor had been fitted it was clear there was a further issue as the watch failed it’s quality control test. The watch was discontinued in 2008 and there were not mechanism parts available for it. At this point most would have given up on the watch and returned it undone, not Watch Hub. We found a solution and got the watch working to an acceptable standard so the customer can carry on using the watch for many more years.
