Fossil watch JR1469 251407 in for repair. Crown/Winder, Hands, Battery and Seal in from Coleraine, Northern Ireland.

This Fossil watch arrived in by post as then crown had snapped off. During the assessment call the customer explained that the crown was damaged and had come off. We suggested a new crown to complete the repair and offered the original or the closest possible version to keep the costs down. The customer was happy to send the watch in to us for an initial assessment.

Once received we found that we would be able to reuse the old crown by removing the old stem and rethreading a new one. We also noted the the hands were loose and were caught under one of the sub dial hands. The customer was happy to proceed and even went for a discount on a new battery.
