Stirling Timepieces | Model: Durrant | Repair: Glass Replacement | Peterborough Queensgate Centre
Stirling Timepieces is owned and operated by a serving British Army soldier who was frustrated with modern digital watches' lack of reliability, size, and battery life. They believed that the market was oversaturated with ‘smart fitness watches’ that can often leave soldiers short when they run out of battery. The vision was to create an affordable timepiece tailored to the needs of the modern-day soldiers who embark on operations and exercises where timekeeping is paramount. The company is dedicated to delivering quality watches at an affordable price without sacrificing service, quality or even style!
One of the watch collections that features in the vast selection is the Durrant. The Durrant watch was inspired by the heroic actions of WW2 commando raids, particularly those behind enemy lines at night. The watch features a 42mm case with a rubber strap bracelet and this is representative of the early WW2 night operations. The dark dial and grey hands filled with Super-LumiNova for easy readability at night! The watch is also fitted with a ceramic dive bezel which is an aknowledgement and appreciation to the aquatic operations. The Durrant is an automatic timepiece which is powered by their NH35 movement!
