This Rotary watch was left in a drawer for years after the customer forgot about it. Then decided to get it repaired and contacted us for advice. We recommended a service. Upon receipt of the watch we confirmed the watch required serving but there were no parts available. We managed to locate an upgraded movement. Unfortunately this increased the price from our initial estimate but it was certainly a worthwhile repair due to the quality of watch and the Swiss movement that we fitted.
We also gave the watch an external clean and the watch glass a polish to finish it off. As you can see it makes all the difference.
Lots of other repairers would have given up on this watch and the customer would have been force to replace the watch but would never have got the same quality from the same manufacturer. This customer would have had to spend £500 to get the equivalent quality nowadays.
