The watches are powered by a quartz or automatic movement and the Omega Constellation is considered a classic and timeless piece, suitable for any occasion.
This watch came to us in need of a new battery and reseal! Sometimes it is not completely understood as to why watches require resealing. This is to ensure that they remain water-resistant. Most watches are designed to be sealed tightly to prevent water and other contaminants from getting inside, and the battery compartment is no exception. When a battery is replaced, the seal around the compartment is often broken - this means in the event you only change the battery, the seal remains ‘broken’ and exposes the housing where the watch movement or battery is supposed to vibe protected.. In order to maintain the water-resistance of the watch, the battery compartment must be resealed. Resealing the battery compartment can also prevent other types of damage such as dust or debris getting inside the watch. If a watch is not resealed properly after a battery replacement, it can lead to water damage and debris spoiling the internal movement or battery and ultimately affect the performance of the watch.
This repair was completed on the same day within the hour with no complications and this comes with an 18-month repair guarantee.
