Oris watch repair 7504 633 in for Service and a crown from Twickenham, Middlesex.

This lovely ORIS watch was sent to us by a customer who found us online. The crown/winder had snapped off and they needed it repaired. We had a brief conversation on the phone and they sent the watch in for assessment.

Once the watch was received and assessed we noted that the crown had snapped due to some previous moisture ingress. The stem the crown attached to had rusted and eventually snapped. Moisture ingress is a killer of automatic watches and as the watch had not been serviced before we strongly recommended this be done at the same time and the customer agreed. Performing the repair in this way means we are able to ensure the watch runs correctly for the foreseeable future.

This repair took us slightly longer than usual but still came well under our estimated completion time we advised the customer at the start.
