TAG Heuer F1 formula 1 plastic yellow and grey 382513 old style in for new battery, reseal and cleaning from Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.
This unusual TAG Heuer watch in for repair today. The watch had stopped and needed a battery replacement. These watches have to be sealed whenever the case back is removed so we performed the reseal and tested for water resistance after the work was complete.
This is a mark 1 Formula 1 design. Made from a plastic external to be resistant to knocks and bangs and it was designed to be a watch that is worn all day everyday. The colour is also very unusual to see.
We were able to complete this work the same day the watch arrived in the workshop. The watch will be returned to the customer working and with an 18 month guarantee.
