Vintage SEIKO Military watch 7T27-7A20 6645-99 8149181 0244/96 in for restoration work from Elgin, Moray

This customer found us online and wanted restoration works done on this very unique watch. After a phone conversation the customer decided to send the watch into us for assessment. When the watch arrived it was in a lot worse condition than first thought and although we could not offer a full restore we could certainly make the best effort possible for the price the customer was willing to pay.

We decided to refurbish the case, refurbish and re-lume the hands, fit a new battery and fit a new glass. While completing the repair there were a few smaller issue we were able to rectify as part of the repair, these included replacing c clips and fitting new springs on the pushers, removing rust and straightening the crown.

Once the repair was complete the watch just didn’t look complete so we decided to fit a new black Nato strap to finish it off. We are not aware if the customer had kept the strap but we supplied a new one anyway and it looks great.
