Vintage SEIKO Military watch 7T27-7A20 in for repair work from Derby, East Midlands.
This customer found us online and required a battery change on this very unique watch. After a phone conversation the customer decided to send the watch into us.
We completed an assessment which highlighted some underlying issues. The battery was not the only issue and we set to work to resolve the problem. After one failed attempt and the watch not passing a QC test we attempted repair number two. As there are no longer spare parts for these watches we had to use our knowledge of the watch to repair what was there.
After fitting a new battery and resolving a gearing issue the customer also opted to fit a new glass.
All the above was complete and the watch was back with the customer after just 2 weeks.
