Watch Hub process for Battery and Reseal: We clean the head of the watch by hand before removing the case back, this is to ensure no contamination will enter the watch. We use specialist tools to remove the case back. Once the case back is removed we take out the old gasket seal and check for wear, these will be replaced where necessary. The casing and case back are both cleaned to remove contamination, this is done mainly using pegwood, isopropanol and rodico. Once the watch is clean the old battery will be removed and tested, if the battery is below the required voltage we will replace it. We will test the consumption rate on some movements to ensure they are running efficiently. The crown and stem is also removed, we clean the case tube and check the gasket seal under the crown and also replace where necessary. When replacing a gasket we always reapply it using silicone grease to help create the new seal. We secure the case back and the crown and then test the watch for water resistance. We guarantee this work for 12 months.
