Citizen watch E168 S080100 251080643 GN-4-S in for service, new glass and clean from Haverhill, Suffolk.
This week we had a Citizen Eco Drive watch in for repair after a knock damaged the glass. Once it arrived in to the workshop it was clear the watch needed further work as the capacitor was not holding charge and the hour hand was not moving when trying to set the watch. We called the customer once the watch assessment was complete and they agreed to the repairs so we ordered all the parts required.
The Citizen Eco Drive watch works off light. The light charges a cell inside the watch that holds the charge and can last for up to 6 months without any light.
The parts arrived fairly quick so we set to work completing the repair. We also gave the externals of the watch a touch polish and replaced the spring bars that hold the strap in place as part of the repair.
The watch now has a 12 month guarantee for al the work complete and should last this customer years and years.
