This customer found us online and was enquiring about a new glass repair as the glass was chipped. Krug Baumen watches are fairly unusual and difficult to find a repairer for so this customer was happy to send the watch to us.
When the watch arrived at the workshop we performed our usual assessment and unearthed a whole load of issues as a result of previous poor quality repairs. Someone had previously been unable to secure the watch parts correctly and so used super glue to hold them in place. A terrible idea! This resulted in the watch needing to have a full service to repair.
The customer understood the issue and it turns out the watch had been handed to them so there watch has sentimental attachment. We set to work completing all the necessary repairs to get the watch working and 2 weeks later it was ready to go.
