Maurice Lacroix watch M15027 AP 232 97 repair in for Service from Waltham St Lawrence, Berkshire.
This watch was sent in to us by post after the customer contacted us online. They wanted a battery and reseal on the watch. Once the watch was assessed at the repair service centre it was found to have a defective gasket where the previous repairer had not fitted the case back correctly. In turn this had allowed lots of contamination into the case causing all sorts of issues that had to be rectified. A Service was the only option so we offered the customer two levels of Service options. They chose to save some money and go for the cheaper options which still comes with an 18 month guarantee.
We gave the outside of the case a quick buff out to finish it off and it looked really good.
As you can see from the photos the previous repair was no where near the level required for this type of watch and the fact the customer was not made aware is even more shocking.
