Seiko watch repair V157 - 0AF0 in for New capacitor and refurbish polish from East London.

This Seiko watch was sent into the service repair centre from a customer in London who found Watch Hub online. After a brief chat with a watch technician they decided to send the watch in using the postal service.

The watch’s second hand was jumping which is an indicator to advise the capacitor is not holding charge. This is a ‘Solar’ watch so it draws its power from light and stores it in a rechargeable cell. This is what has to be replaced.

This customer also opted for a clean and polish as the watch had seen better days and what a result, it looks fantastic. Titanium is very hard to polish due to the composite of the metal but we are able to get great results.

All these repairs were complete within 1 week and returned to the customer.
