Seiko watch V158 0AB0 in for a new capacitor, glass and polish from Avimore, Scotland

This Seiko Solar watch was sent into the repair workshop after the customer filled in a free online assessment form. They spoke to a technician who advised that the watch required a new capacitor due to the second hand skipping two seconds at a time, added to the age of the watch this seemed like the most logical repair.

Once received at the Workshop we found the capacitor wasn’t holding charge and confirmed the problem with the customer. We advised a new glass and polish at the same time as it would be done at a much reduced price. They proceeded and I’m sure they will be happy with the results as you can see it makes all the difference.
